Overboots have a wide range of properties, such as slip-resistant soles, covered elastic bands on the calves, ankle bands, edged and inside seams, etc.
Some of them are processed under cleanroom conditions and are available gamma irradiated or validated sterile.
Essential prerequisites for cleanroom suitable disposable oversboots, depending on application:
particle retention capacity and barrier properties
sterility, on demand
antistatic finishing with lowest possible particle emission
tensile strength
anti-slip properties
cleanliness at delivery and in cleanroom suitable packaging (polybag)
current documentation, model specifications, technical data sheet for the used material, certificate of sterility/of irradiation
PPE guidelines, if required
